- photos inside the old lightship frying pan, moored at pier 63 manhattan and open to the public (i think). an incredible, salty, rusty antique that guarded north carolina's frying pan shoals for thirty years - probably the nastiest spot on the east coast. very unrefurbished and master and commander-y. webpage here. more photos to follow.
